There are two chute length options, the first option will work on walls up to 6 inches and the second option will work on walls up to 9.5 inches.  Please note, these chutes are not adjustable so if your wall is four inches thick and you order the first chute length option expect the chute to stick out ftom the wall a few inches. There is a thin rubber gasket that goes around the interior of the cover plate. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn optional locking receptacle allows the mail to be collected and kept secured until it is retrieved through the locked door. This drop chute with optional receptacle can work for a wall, a brick column or a gate.
