The outside dimensions are 17-7/8" W x 13-7/8" L x 7-7/8" D. Interior dimensions: 16-5/8" W x 13-1/8" D x 7-5/8" H. The body of the laptop safe is made of 14 gauge steel and the door is made of 8 gauge steel. The electronic laptop safe door opens automatically when your personal code is entered. The electronic keypad holds one master code as well as numerous secondary back up codes. Two back up keys are included in case the code is lost or forgotten. The face plate removes to expose the back up key hole.
