Made of 20 gauge 304 smooth satin stainless steel, this drop box works as a payment drop box or as a mailbox. The drop slot opening has a black self closing angled flap which helps protect the opening from wind and rain.
It works well as both a payment drop box or as a USPS wall mounted mailbox. The drop slot opening is 1.5 inches high and 10 inches wide. For easy installation there are 4 pre-drilled holes in the back of the mailbox. Two keys and mounting harware is included. Looking for a smaller drop box? The Stainless Steel Drop Box includes a lock assembly with a built in recessed finger pull and aspring loaded latch and key lock which allows the door to be used with of without locking.
The incoming mail slot is protected from the elements by a self closing angled flap finished in a satin black paint. The front door opens downward to 80 degrees preventing contents from falling out.
Basic Installation instructions:
1. Determine the location and height of where the mailbox is to be installed. With the door open, mark the location of screw holes. Install mailbox using screws.
2. Mailbox door can be used with or without locking. Hardware and two keys provided.
Maintenance: Wipe clean of dust when needed and apply 3 in 1 oil into key hole of lock a couple of times a year to prevent key from sticking.
