Designed for wall thicknesses ranging from 8 to 14 inches. This adjustable mail slot will NOT work for walls less than 8 inches or greater than 14 inches.
The two mail chute pieces slide together allowing you to adjust the length to fit your wall size. The drop opening is 9.25" wide and 2.5" high. This means nothing wide than 9 inches will fit though the drop opening and nothing higher than 2.25" will go down the the mail slot. This adjustable mail slot is designed for mail or payments and not for large envelopes or packages.
The mail chute is black and there are 4 color choices for the mail slot drop door. The face plate door color options are Bronze, Black, Silver or Antique Copper.
Adjustable Mail Chute Specifications:
- Drop Opening 9.25" wide by 2.5" high
- Faceplate is: 12-3/8" wide x 5" high
- Rough opening is approximately 10.25" wide x 3.25" high (we recommend not making any cuts until the product arrives to confirm measurements)
- Minimum wall thickness 8" and maximum 14"
