Extra Large High Security Through the Wall Custom Deposit Drop Box with Hopper Drop Door

This Extra Large High Security Through the Wall Custom Deposit Drop Box with Hopper Drop Door is made to order. There are several options which must be selected in order for the drop box to be built to your needs. If you need something different please call or email us.

First option is the color: White, Black, Gray, Bronze, Almond or Red. The second option is the lock options. The Medeco lock is a high security lock which provide excellent security, and the Electronic Keypad Lock option allows for quick access without the need for a key.  Optional rain guard is available if the drop opening will be in direct weather. 

The third option is the wall thickness the drop box will go through. There are three wall thickness options: 4 to 7-3/4 inch wall thickness, 8 to 11-3/4 inches and 10 to 13-3/4 inches. If your wall is between 4" to 7-3/4" the first option will be the best and you may need to recess the receptacle a few inches. For walls 8" to 11-3/4" thick the second option would be best. And for walls 10" to 13-3/4" thick the last option would be best. If you are not able to recess the receptacle (body) of the drop box please let us know. 

The final option is the envelope or package height. Think of this as the throat and what will drop down the throat of the drop box and into the receptacle. The standard option will accept a package no higher than 3.5 inches. If you anticipate thicker items being dropped select the option accordingly. Keep in mind if you have something 4 inches thick you need the next size up so there is room for it to drop down into the receptacle and not get stuck.  

Overall dimensions of the drop box are 46”h x 12”w x 17”d (including depository module). The depth of the unit may change according to the wall thickness option you select. 

Please note: The receptacle portion may need to be partially recessed into the interior of the wall for the best fit. If you have a wall thicker than 14 inches you may want to consider recessing a larger portion of the body (receptacle). The drop door is recessed back approximately 1 inch which has been incorporated in the drop door hopper mechanism. This means when the drop door is opened the back of the drop door closes keeping someone from reaching in and taking or phishing items out, and this makes phishing items out more difficult. 

Anti-Phishing teeth are cut into the bottom of the drop door making phishing items out extremely difficult if not impossible. Also incorporated in the drop door is the hopper mechanism. This means when the drop door is opened the back of the drop door closes keeping someone from reaching in a taking or phishing items out. 

Your envelopes and small packages can be no wider than 11 inches.  The depth of the item being dropped can be no greater 8 inches.  The height of the item being dropped should be no higher than 3.5 inches for the standard size, select the larger size if needed. An optional rain guard is now offered if your drop opening will be in direct weather. It is usually not needed if the drop opening will be under an eave, awning or other cover. 

This drop box is constructed of 12 gauge steel and powder coated.  Made in the USA and custom built with a production time of roughly 2 to 3 weeks and occasionally longer.
