The Vacationeer Locking Mailbox is a large capacity security mailbox, made of durable powder coated 18-gauge steel. This large capacity locking mailbox will easily keep weeks of standard mail. The dimensions are 10-1/4" wide x 29-1/2" high x 23" deep. Incoming Drop Opening: 9.5” x 8”. The interior mail storage is approximately 10" wide x 20” x 18”.
The large capacity drop door can easily accept envelopes, magazines, and small packages like boxes of checks, prescriptions drugs or small packages from Amazon.
A hinged flap allows you to choose where your mail is delivered. For everyday use, put the hinged flap in the down position, so mail is delivered to the non-locking storage area for quick and easy access. When you go on vacation or any other time you want to keep your mail secure, put the hinged flap in the up position, so mail quickly and easily drops down into the secure locked storage area. The sturdy hinged hopper door is large enough to accept small packages.
The mailboxes locked access door features a thick hook cam latch locking system that latches through the frame. The locking mailbox is labeled inside, providing simple, easy-to-follow instructions for the delivery carrier. A durable powder coated black finish keeps this mailbox protected from the elements. Optional vinyl letters can be purchased for a minimal cost. We will apply them to the front of the mailbox to help your postal carrier deliver to the correct mailbox.
