Our Rural locking mailbox has the look of a standard style residential mailbox except this version LOCKS! Made of durable 14 gauge steel, you can trust it will stand up to some heavy punishment. The 5-pin cam lock will keep your mail safe and you can safely access your mail from the rear. This means no need to step into the street to retrieve your mail. It comes with a 1” incoming slot and is texture powder coated for maximum durability.
This mailbox has an open style drop slot, there is a 1 inch overhang to protect against rain dropping in the opening. The opening for mail to be dropped in is: 1 inch high by 7 3/4 inch wide. The overall size of this drop box is 8 1/8" wide by 8 1/2" high by 19" long with a 1" overhang to protect against rain. This makes the total length of the mailbox 20 inches long (including the overhang).
The Locking Rural Mailbox with Rear Access has a Conditional Lifetime Warranty. This model does not have an outgoing mail tray. If you need a larger or smaller mail drop opening please contact us for a customization quote. Made in the USA!
