The mail box extension was great, since our wall thickness was more than the wall mounted mail box.
Glad the mail slot extension was helpful and worked for your thicker wall. It works up to a wall 12 inches thick but we can custom make a longer one if ever needed by a customer.
Thinking Outside The Box Remembering built-in milk chutes and mail slots from many years ago, I needed a delivery option setup for a nearly deaf mom who can function fine living on her own but needed some help receiving her daily dinner meal delivery since she could not always hear who may be at the front door. While we wait for warmer weather to finish the imside/outside you can see by utilizing the oversized mail slot this turned out to be a wonderful product to accomplish our task. This is an extremely well built product that will be used daily for a long time and did not need to go thru the brick of the house like a conventional mail slot. Just as important was you receive communication back from the company via text or e-mail which is invaluable when you have questions prior to your purchase.
Looked for the largest window opening and required the extensions to allow the books to fall further into the center of the bins.
